New model IT7259EX-17 touch IC was released. The IT7259EX-17 is a new one of 7259E capacitance sensor series, it integrates one single electrode 17-channel capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC), one high performance low-power-consumption 8-bit MCU, flexible memory support, and many powerful hardware functions. The internal CDC has one automatic calibrate and compensates engine to remove effect from environmental change.

The IT7259EX-17 is available in 28-pin XQFN packages. Compared with the existing products, IT7259EX-17 has smaller dimension (3*3 mm) and supports more channels (17 channels) to fufill the recent application demands of larger wearable device screens. It also has low power consumption with active mode within 0.5~1.5mA, and supports of I2C interface.
